Join at any time of the year, subject to availability.
  • Reception Admissions are processed by the Local Authority.
  • In-Year Admissions (Years 1–6) are processed by both the Local Authority and our Admissions Team.
  • Nursery Applications (Ages 3–4) are managed by the school.
  • Overseas Applications are managed by the Local Authority.
School tours take place weekly and must be booked in advance.

Our open events are held every week, hosted by our Head of School Mr Lynch

Nursery Admissions

We accept children into our Nursery after their third birthday. Most children usually spend three or four school terms at Nursery before starting primary school.

We hold school tours every Tuesday at 9.30am. Please contact the school office to book your tour. You will be shown around by the Head of School with your child and see the Nursery in action. You may fill in or pick up an enrolment form at the school office after your visit.

The nursery is made up of two different sessions: morning and full time. The timings for these sessions are as follows:

Morning place: 8.50am – 11.40am

Full Time place: 8.50am – 3.20pm

Reception Admissions

All admissions to the Primary Reception class are processed by Hammersmith & Fulham Council.

We welcome children from the local nursery schools, other settings or from home.
The transfer from our Nursery to Reception is not automatic.
Children who attend our Nursery are still required to apply for a Reception place at the school through the Local Authority.

Key Dates and Eligibility

  • You can apply for a Reception place for September 2026 if your child was born between 1 September 2021 and 31 August 2022.
  • Applications open on Monday, 1 September 2025.
  • The deadline for on-time applications is midnight on Thursday, 15 January 2026.
    Applications submitted after this date will be considered late.

All applications must be made via the eAdmissions portal.

Important Dates After Application

  • National Offer Day: 16 April 2026
    You will receive your offer for a primary school place if you submitted an on-time application.
  • Deadline to accept an offer: 30 April 2026.
In-year Admissions

An in-year admission is when your child joins a school during the school year. You would normally be making an in-year application if you have recently moved, you have arrived from another country or you want to transfer your child to another school.

To apply for a place at Fulham Primary School please complete the enrolment form which is available at the school office and return it with a copy of your child/ren passport and proof of address

Appeals

Parents whose application for a place is unsuccessful have the right to appeal the decision. This must be expressed in accordance with the school’s Admissions Criteria. Should you wish to appeal, please complete an appeal form on which you must list your reasons for making an appeal. Appeals should be addressed for the attention of the United Learning Governors and sent via email to admin@fulhamprmaryschool.org.uk or via post to Fulham Primary School, Halford Road, London, SW6 1JU.
