Admissions at Fulham Primary School

Join at any time of the year, subject to availability.
  • Reception Admissions are processed by the Local Authority.
  • In-Year Admissions (Years 1–6) are processed by both the Local Authority and our Admissions Team.
  • Nursery Applications (Ages 3–4) are managed by the school.
  • Overseas Applications are managed by the Local Authority.
School tours take place weekly and must be booked in advance.

Our open events are held every week, hosted by our Head of School Mrs Windsor.

For families seeking a more tailored experience or unable to attend an Open Morning, we also offer personalised tours with our Head of School.

Nursery Admissions

We welcome children into our Nursery from the term following their third birthday.
Our Nursery offers two attendance options:

  • Morning place (15 hours per week): 8.40am to 11.40am
  • Full-time place (30 hours per week): 8.40am to 3.20pm

All three and four-year-old children in England are entitled to 15 hours of funded childcare per week, which covers our morning session.

A full-time place requires either a valid 30-hour childcare funding code or payment of a top-up fee. The top-up fee is payable each half term through Arbor.

Reception Admissions

All admissions to the Primary Reception class are processed by Hammersmith & Fulham Council.

We welcome children from the local nursery schools, other settings or from home.
The transfer from our Nursery to Reception is not automatic.
Children who attend our Nursery are still required to apply for a Reception place at the school through the Local Authority.

Key Dates and Eligibility

  • You can apply for a Reception place for September 2027 if your child was born between 1 September 2022 and 31 August 2023.
  • Applications open on Monday, 1 September 2026.
  • The deadline for on-time applications is midnight on Friday, 15 January 2027.
    Applications submitted after this date will be considered late.

All applications must be made via the eAdmissions portal.

Important Dates After Application

  • National Offer Day: 16 April 2027
    You will receive your offer for a primary school place if you submitted an on-time application.
  • Deadline to accept an offer: 30 April 2027.

How to respond to the offer

If you applied using a paper form, the offer letter explains how to respond.

If you applied online you must respond to the offer through the eAdmissions website. You'll need the username and password you used when you made your application. If you can't remember this information, you can use the 'Forgotten your username or password?' option.

Once you have logged in, go to the 'My school admissions' page then select 'View outcome and respond.'

Late applications

Late application can still be made for a reception place on the eAdmission website which remains open until the middle of August 2027.

After this date, applications can be made directly to the school if places are still available.

In-year Admissions

An in-year admission is when your child joins a school during the school year. You would normally be making an in-year application if you have recently moved, you have arrived from another country or you want to transfer your child to another school.

To apply for a place at Fulham Primary School please complete the enrolment form which is available at the school office and return it with a copy of your child/ren passport and proof of address

Appeals

Parents whose application for a place is unsuccessful have the right to appeal the decision. This must be expressed in accordance with the school’s Admissions Criteria. Should you wish to appeal, please complete an appeal form on which you must list your reasons for making an appeal. Appeals should be addressed for the attention of the United Learning Governors and sent via email to admin@fulhamprmaryschool.org.uk or via post to Fulham Primary School, Halford Road, London, SW6 1JU.
