Reception Admissions

All admissions to the Fulham Primary Reception class are processed by Hammersmith & Fulham Council.

We welcome children from the local nursery schools, overseas, or other settings or from home.

Children who attend our Nursery are still required to apply for a Reception place at the school through the Local Authority. Please note that transfer from Nursery to Reception is not automatic.

Key Dates and Eligibility

  • You can apply for a Reception place for September 2027 if your child was born between 1 September 2022 and 31 August 2023.
  • The portal open on Monday 21 September 2026.
  • The deadline for on-time applications is midnight on Thursday, 15 January 2027

You can still apply online for a place after 15 January 2027, but your application won't be processed until after 16 April 2027. Applications submitted after the deadline will be considered late.

All applications must be made via the eAdmissions portal.

Important Dates After Application

  • National Offer Day: 16 April 2027
You will receive your offer for a primary school place if you submitted an on-time application.
  • Deadline to accept an offer: 30 April 2027.

What happens next

Your Local Authority (LA) will get in touch with you on the National Offer Day to tell you the name of the school at which they can offer your child a place. If you provided an email address on the application form, you will receive your offer letter by email. Alternatively, a letter will be posted to you.

If a place is available at your first preference school, the  LA will offer your child a place there.

If there are only places available at your second or third preference schools,  the LA will offer your child a place at one of these. They will also place your child’s name on the waiting list of any schools you have ranked higher.

If places are available at more than one of the schools your prefer, the LA will offer your child a place at the school you have ranked highest.

If places aren’t available at any of the schools you prefer, the LA will offer your child a place at the school or academy nearest to your address that has places available.

How to respond to the offer

If you applied using a paper form, the offer letter sent by the LA will explain how to respond.

If you applied online you must respond to the offer through the eAdmissions website. You will need the username and password you used when you made your application. If you can't remember this information, you can use the 'Forgotten your username or password?' option.

Once you have logged in, go to the 'My school admissions' page then select 'View outcome and respond.

Late applications

Late application can still be made for a reception place on the eAdmission website which remains open until the middle of August 2027.

After this date, applications can be made directly to the school if places are still available.

To arrange a visit to our school, please complete the booking form on our Open Events page. A member of our Admissions Team will then contact you with details of the next available school tour.
